Get to know me!

Hello! It’s so nice to meet you. My name is Kimberly. I’m a photographer based in the San Fernando Valley and I service the greater Los Angeles area. I specialize in family portraits - both candid and posed. I love keeping my sessions easy, breezy, and laid back. I make gentle suggestions as to certain poses or ideas for candid moments but I like to do so in an unobtrusive way so that we can capture your family as you truly are, in this precious moment of time.  

I’m a mom to a sweet two year old boy named Leo, yes you read that right, he is TWO, so we are fully in the thick of it (I like to refer to them as the “Teachable Twos” rather than the “Terrible Twos”...but check in with me on that in a few months). That said, I completely understand the necessity to be patient and flexible in our sessions. Many photographers will tell you that we can only shoot an hour before sunset or in the studio with controlled lighting. But because I’m living it right now, I know that that doesn’t always line up with your nap schedules, feeding schedules, school schedules, the list goes on and on.  I will work with you to balance the needs of your family and the details that we need to create beautiful portraits of your family. Need to pause our session for a diaper change or a feed? No problem. I’ll even sing a silly song to your toddler during the break if they need it!

I’ve received a Certificate in Photography from UCLA and I also hold a Master of Fine Arts in Film and Television Producing from Chapman University. So you can count on me to not only have a great eye for beautiful photos but also the scheduling and planning skills of an entertainment professional with 10+ years of experience in the film business.
